After arriving in Paris, I immediately wanted to begin chipping away at my gluten free bakery must try list. thank you, my deer was the first stop on my much coveted "sans gluten" exploration. Sadly we were a little late for lunch but I was able to get the above apple rhubarb muffin and a petit pain de mie. The muffin was was just the right amount of delicious to hold me over until dinner, and the pain made the perfect accoutrement to my dinner spread. What a nice way to welcome this gluten free girl to Paris.
